Competition law expert joins SAA

SAA is to welcome a competition law expert to its ranks when Zodwa Ntuli, compliance division manager at the Competition Commission, joins the national carrier later this month. Ntuli will hold the position of competition law advisor at SAA from January 15. In a surprise move, SAA announced during December that it would not appeal the R45m fine handed down by the Competition Tribunal (the biggest fine in the Tribunal’s history) for operating an anti-competitive travel agents incentive scheme and said it would seek to resolve other outstanding matters before the Tribunal speedily.
