THE Nairobi Serena Hotel in Kenya will launch a new conference facility, the Nairobi Serena Conference Centre, in the second quarter of 2005. According to Serena Hotels, the conference centre will feature “futuristic multi-media and global communications facilities and a lavish selection of business suites, which can be booked on a stand-alone basis or as part of the integrated conference suite”. The conference facilities will accommodate between 20 and 120 delegates and will be equipped with the latest audiovisual and multi-media facilities. Two executive garden suites which are fully integrated into the new complex will also offer ‘luxurious’ bedroom facilities and a fully equipped business suite. (Lucy Siebert)
