Gulf Hotels Group is set to develop the Silva Gigiri Hotel & Residence in Nairobi, Kenya, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Silva Gigiri. This is the group’s second hotel management contract in East Africa after the Ocean Paradise Resort in Zanzibar.
Located in a business and shopping hub near the city centre, the hotel will primarily target diplomatic and corporate travellers.
Construction is scheduled to commence in late August with a soft opening in 2028. It will feature 250 units, including standard hotel rooms, studios, one- and two-bedroom residences and premium penthouses. Multiple dining venues, wellness and fitness centres, a conference centre and working spaces will also be available.
