Delta postpones Luanda launch

Following on the suspension of its Cape Town service and the postponement of its Kenya service last month, Delta Air Lines has indefinitely postponed its flights between Atlanta and Luanda, Angola.

Jimmy Eichelgruen, director – sales Africa, Middle East and India for Delta, said the planned Luanda launch would be postponed until all US and foreign government approvals were obtained.

The airline first announced its plans to operate to Luanda via Sal Island, Cape Verde, in November last year.
