ATTA (African Travel and Tourism Association)will host its Christmas networking party in Cape Town on December 1, from 17h00-21h00 at Sandy B, the private beach club of the Bay Hotel in Camps Bay.
ATTA and SATSA members, along with their guests and media, are invited to attend, as well as all aspiring members of the tourism industry.
Addresses will include an explanation of the benefits of joining ATTA in 2012. Members who bring and introduce new members who join ATTA will receive a 10% discount on next year’s fees. James Fernie of Uthando will also deliver a short speech on how tourism organisations and tourists can get involved with economic and social development in Africa.
The cost to attend is R120 if booking in advance and R150 on the night. This includes wine, soft drinks, canapés and one ticket for the raffle draw. Raffle prizes include a four-night holiday at the newly opened Azura at Quilalea in Mozambique and three nights at Matemwe Lodge in Zanzibar. Further raffle tickets will be available at R100 each, with proceeds going to Uthando.
