European big-wigs tour SA

SIX European ceos are currently touring SA to see what the country has to offer in terms of corporate meetings, hospitality and incentives, courtesy of SA Tourism.

Their four-day itinerary includes site inspections of Green Point stadium, five-star hotels in Cape Town and Johannesburg and fine dining experiences in both cities.  It also includes a township tour of Soweto, game viewing and an overnight stay at Pafuri Camp in the Kruger National Park and a helicopter trip to the Cradle of Humankind.

“The aim of this educational trip is to further promote our offerings and to generate leads for South African tourism product owners and stakeholders in the lead up to, during and beyond 2010,” said Angeline Lue, gm South African business tourism.

The group of businessmen are from Coca-Cola, Gries & Hessel Bankers, Panasonic, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, LG Electronics and LHS Telekom GmbH.
