Fastjet will return to Zim skies

Fastjet Zimbabwe was yesterday engaged in finalising its plans for the recommencement of its domestic flights between Harare and Bulawayo and Harare and Victoria Falls, following the September 8 announcement by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting on the opening of domestic flights today, September 10.

Commencement dates and a revised domestic network flying programme would be published on the airline’s website and social media pages during the course of this week, said the release.

“As details on the resumption of flights are firmed, the airline will be sharing with its customers additional incentives that will form part of the ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative, which focuses on the customer’s experience, safety, well-being and sustainable operations across the airline’s network,” said the statement.

Last week, the airline’s ‘Flexible Booking Change Policy’ was extended until March 2021. Details are on the fastjet website.

The airline says it will continue to operate repatriation flights between Harare and Johannesburg during the period of restricted international air travel, in accordance with the two governments’ regulatory guidelines.
