A relief fund and ops centre to assist tourism products and owners has been set up by Skal International Garden Route, together with Lions Sedgefield.
Tons of aid has been delivered to those in need on Thursday, June 8.
President at Skal International South Africa, Niel Els says: “Most of our members living in the area have been affected by this disaster, we set up a relief fund and a centre where we get and deliver aid to victims in a credible way”.
“We ensure that aid gets to where it is most needed,” said Els.
A committee has been set up to make sure that money is accounted for and traceable.
