THE Greater St Lucia Wetland Park is seeing its tourism facilities upgraded. At least R6m is being invested in the park to improve the tourism experience. Projects on the card for the park include: *Improved, safer parking at the Siyabonga Tourist Centre to enhance the entrance to St Lucia and accommodate the growing bus charter market. *Replacement of public and commercial jetties in St Lucia. This includes the popular public jetty near the St Lucia Ski Boat Club *Upgrade of St Lucia roads and repairs to the public jetty car park. *Rehabilitation of the access road to Cape Vidal. These activities will take between three to seven months. The Park Authority apologises for any inconvenience to visitors. (Natalia Thomson)
