Hilton will open the first Curio Collection hotel in the Maldives at the end of the year, after signing a franchise agreement with Singha Estate (PCL).
The Curio Collection Maldives resort will be managed by S Hotels and Resorts, a subsidiary of Singha. It will have 198 guest rooms, beach villas, and overwater villas. Facilities will include a fitness centre, a swimming pool, duty-free shops and multiple restaurants. Guests will also have access to a beach club, watersports, a dive centre, cultural centre, and a kids’ club.
The new Curio Collection by Hilton property is part of the CROSSROADS project, the first integrated leisure and entertainment resort destination under development in Emboodhoo Lagoon, Maldives. CROSSROADS spans nine islands in Emboodhoo Lagoon, and will have a range of dining, retail, entertainment, recreational and lifestyle offerings, including a 50-berth marina.
"As we continue to grow our portfolio across Asia, we are proud to introduce the Curio Collection by Hilton brand in one of the world's most celebrated resort destinations,” said Guy Phillips, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia & Australasia, Hilton. “The Maldives remains a top choice for global travellers today and we are thrilled to be partnering with Singha Estate on this very exciting CROSSROADS project."
