THE Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN) held its seventh annual awards ceremony in Swakopmund last week, announcing the following winners in their respective categories: *Restcamps: Epupa Camp; Namibgrens Restcamp. *Hotel-Garni: Hotel-Pension Moni; Sam's Giardino Hotel. *Guest Farm: Khan River Guest Farm; Ermo Guest Farm; Rustig Toko Lodge; Ondekaremba Guest Farm; Farm Okomitundu; Oase Guest Farm; Sinclair Guest Farm; RL Farm; Haruchas Guest Farm; Ababis Guest Farm; Zelda Game & GuestFarm; Niedersachsen Guest Farm. *Lodge: Bitterwasser Lodge & Flying Centre; Goba Goba Lodge; Anib Lodge; Huab Lodge; Namib Naukluft Lodge; Kavita Lion Lodge; Auas Game Lodge; Etosha Aoba Lodge; Khorab Lodge; Etusis Lodge; Rostock Ritz. *Country Hotel: Seaview Hotel Zum Sperrgebiet; Etosha Garten Hotel; Maltahoehe Hotel. *Hotels with less than 50 rooms: No winners. *Hotels over 50 rooms: Swakopmund Hotel and Entertainment Centre; Hansa Hotel; Nest Hotel. The awards are based on evaluation forms completed by tourists visiting Namibia's respective accommodation establishments. For an establishment to qualify it needs a minimum of 20 forms to be completed and must achieve a minimum feedback of 94% service excellence. (Adéle Mackenzie)
