TRAVELINFO (TI), the electronic database available to the INbound travel trade and integrated with Travel News Now (TNN), now offers access to over 160 operators, in a variety of categories, from accommodation, car hire and airlines to tour operators and conference organisers. According to project manager, Tracy Jay, "many inbound readers skip straight through to get their daily fix of news, as they do not realise the wealth of data available on the TI part of the site, as this was traditionally used only by travel agents on the GDSs". In addition to data provided by advertisers, the site contains other valuable, information to assist the trade in running their organisations effectively, such as Diary Dates (previously found on TNN) and Vacancies. Jay said: "As a business-to-business publication the directory is essentially text-based, user-friendly and functional, to ensure a speedy delivery to highly targeted audiences."
