JIA upgrades international lounge

THE new duty free section at Johannesburg International Airport has been upgraded and extended, with the food and beverage section comprising many new restaurants and fast-food outlets. The largest NewsCafé in Africa, with an added fast service NewsCafé Express, is situated in a prime spot overlooking the aprons. At the other end, the Salmon House seafood restaurant has a spectacular view of the runways. For travellers on the run there is a Steers fast food outlet, and coming soon will be a Nando's outlet. Select Service Partner (SSP) operates two of the three retail 'nodes' in the new hall. (Johann Hattingh)
