AN enterprising Port Elizabeth man is offering visitors an unusual way to sightsee in the city - in the sidecar of a blue vintage CJ750 vintage motorcycle.
Robbie Tonks, owner of Workshop Connoisseur - the only company in Africa to restore vintage motorbikes - says he is offering a special kind of tourist an unforgettable experience - a fun-filled day with a tour guide viewing all the popular sites from the sidecar.
Although not suitable for the mass market, the drive would appeal to "old-timers" who immediately feel back in the good old days of childhood, he says.
Accompanied by a trained tour guide, the vehicle is also available for longer Garden Route tours.
