FIVE workers from Klaserie Private Nature Reserve are being trained about the importance of ecology, and will then be expected to teach children what they've learnt. The training, at Southern Cross Schools in Hoedspruit, covers ecology, its importance and the significance of maintaining wildlife areas. The five staff members will then be expected to teach what they have learnt to about 150 children, aged between six and 15. Every holiday the group will get together for additional training, and when the eco-training programme is complete, the participants will receive a certificate. (African Eye News Service)
