EXECUTIVE director of Kruger National Park, Dr Bandile Mkhize, has opened a new boardwalk at Skukuza Nursery on Tuesday, September 19. The boardwalk runs for 300m from the parking lot of the nursery, over the artificial wetland formed by Lake Panic dam to the front of the nursery. Information boards are situated along the boardwalk to provide visitors with information on the importance of wetlands and the eco-system. The South African Biodiversity Institute contributed most of the funds for the project and it was designed by the KNP’s technical services department. Shamin Chibba (shaminc@nowmedia.co.za)
