Lalibela’s Marks Camp, situated in the Eastern Cape, South Africa is set to reopen on July 28, following a major refurb which saw the camp close mid-April.
An infinity pool positioned at a nearby waterhole has been added. In addition, the old pool has been enlarged and a shallow end for toddlers has been added. A new lounge is being built and all rooms will be refurnished and redecorated.
The rooms have been redesigned to allow for a third adult (ages 12 and over) to stay in a standard room. This is set to appeal to parents travelling with teenagers who would previously have had to book, and pay for, a second standard room.
Other Lalibela lodges undergoing renovations are Kichaka which is closed for the month of June and Tree Tops which will be closed during July.
