LIMPOPO Tourism and Parks appointed a new chief executive officer, Bernard Boshielo, from January 4. Says Boshielo on his appointment: “I join the board in an executive capacity to provide leadership on a number of strategic initiatives taken by the board. I wish to emphasise that it is crucial to enhance the achievements made by the Limpopo Tourism and Parks Board, to strengthen co-operation with our partners within the public, private and NGO sectors.” Boshielo says he is committed to continue “aggressively market and position” Limpopo Tourism and Parks on the centre stage of international tourism markets. In addition, the board remains committed to the transformation of the industry by getting involved in the upliftment of small, medium and micro enterprises. (Natalia Thomson)
