THE proposed Monorail between Soweto and Johannesburg CBD has been put on hold following a meeting between the national and Gauteng provincial governments.
It was announced that the project would be on hold until a consultation process was carried out, which included providing feedback to the minister of transport, Jeff Radebe, about various issues, including the legal requirements surrounding the project.
