NAC announces investment programmes

THE National Airways Corporation has launched two investment programmes, the Kwena Malopo Secondary School and the implementation of its scholar patrol, and the empowerment of artists around Lanseria, Gauteng. NAC recently donated a large number of textbooks to the school to assist learners with their reading and studying skills. NAC has also ensure that sufficient training has been given to learners to man the pedestrian crossing. The scholar patrol was also equipped with safety vests and stop-sign poles. NAC, as part of its programme to development local artists’ talent, is to display local artwork for sale. One of the foundations that will benefit from this is a project called the Little Artists School, which was founded to teach and empower street children with artistic talent. Other art on display will be from artists whose livelihoods depend on the sale of artwork, but have not yet become know within the South African art circuit.
