ROBERTA (Robbie) Arie has joined the Weekends Away to drive sales for business tourism. She leaves her position as guest relations manager at the Saxon Hotel. Managing director for Weekends Away, Jennifer Rose Meckler, says Arie’s previous experience in the five-star world of Rovos Rail and the Saxon Hotel will be an asset to the “adventure world” of Weekends Away, with her bringing “five-star standards” to Weekends Away’s business tourism clients.
