THE Commodore Hotel in Cape Town has a new head chef at its Clipper Restaurant. Rob Creaser joined the hotel at the beginning of the year and was previously executive chef at the Londolozi Private Game Reserve in Mpumalanga. He has also worked at the Victoria Junction Hotel and the Mount Nelson Hotel, both in Cape Town. Meanwhile, the hotel has completed a major equipment upgrade at its Legacy Boardroom. Some of the improvements include a 70-inch LG Flatron Plasma Screen on the wall, a Polycom video-conference camera, a DVD player and a video machine. (Miguel de Sousa)
