GLOBAL IT company, Siemens, has signed a third party agreement with Hospitality Technology International (HTI) that will see the duo targeting a hotel software solution, Jade Siemens, at mid-sized hotels. The contract is the first third party agreement Siemens has signed with the hospitality industry. In terms of the agreement, Siemens will incorporate HTI's flagship offering, Jade, into its company's existing Caracas hotel software. The new software offers features such as integrated voice mail, guest history, wake-up calls, mini bar, check-in. barring and unbarring. The fist hotel to sign up was Villa Via in Sandton, Johannesburg. (Adéle Mackenzie)
