New key appointments for SA Tourism

SOUTH African Tourism (SAT) has announced the following new appointments: * The position of portfolio manager: Asia & Australasia has been filled by Zolelwa Mukhozo who was most recently with the Department of Trade and Industry responsible for trade protocol negotiations within the SADC region. * Jill Ackerman has been appointed to the post of communications manager based in New York. Previously director of marketing for Sunburst Holidays and Micro Video Learning Systems, Ackerman holds a BS and MA in Advertising/Marketing from Boston University. * John Bateman has been appointed trade relations manager for the US West Coast. He is a seasoned travel and tourism sales professional and has worked for the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Tourism Marketing Division of the Government of British Columbia in Canada. Bateman’s academic achievements include a BA in Business Administration and graduate studies in business and marketing. (Adele Mackenzie)
