THE Flying Dutchman funicular at Cape Point will cost R36 per person return per adult and R27 one way from the beginning of this month until October next year. Tour operators can purchase vouchers or use an account system. The funicular has been in use since December 1996 and can transport 600 people per hour at peak periods.
Other changes at Cape Point include a new summer menu at the Two Oceans Restaurant, featuring breakfasts, seafood, wraps, salads and other continental dishes. The restaurant can accommodate over 300 people with views over False Bay.
