A 'new' SETA for the tourism industry has been welcomed by those involved with skills development and training in the industry.
The new ‘THETA’ has been labelled as CATHSSeta (Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality, and Sports) as it has been given additional constituencies in the form of Arts and Culture. The manadate of the SETA has also been extended by five years.
Caleb Mabaso will also take over the reins after being elected as Chairman of THETA last month.
