Leadership changes at Jozi My Jozi

Jozi My Jozi has announced that its founding CEO, Bea Swanepoel, has been appointed as CEO of NewCo Trust, a newly established national organisation mandated to scale the Jozi My Jozi model in cities across South Africa.

Innocent Mabusela has been appointed CEO of Jozi My Jozi. He previously served as Communications Manager and Head of Stakeholder Relations.

The organisation said the transition will allow Swanepoel to focus on the national rollout through NewCo Trust while Mabusela will continue to drive Jozi My Jozi’s work in Johannesburg and Soweto with emphasis on community-based initiatives.

Sun International appoints new Hospitality and Sales COO

Sun International has appointed Nomzamo Radebe as COO for Hospitality and Sales, effective February 2.

Announcing the appointment, CEO Ulrik Bengtsson said: “This marks another exciting step in our progression as we continue to build Sun International’s world-class capabilities, which includes taking a fresh perspective on our business and pursuing our ambition to become a digitally led, market leading, omnichannel gaming company of scale. We are confident that Nomzamo will play a pivotal role in bringing new insights to our hospitality and property businesses.”

Radebe is a chartered accountant with more than 27 years’ experience in the real estate sector, including 20 years in senior leadership roles. She has served as COO at SA Corporate Real Estate, CEO of Excellerate JHI, Chief Investment Officer and Financial Director at Pareto and as a Director at National Treasury.
