Qatar, Precision Air enter interline agreement

Qatar Airways is expanding its presence in East Africa following an interline agreement signed with Tanzania’s Precision Air.

The agreement allows Qatar Airways passengers to connect via Dar es Salaam to and from a wide range of East African cities, such as Moroni - the capital of Comoros - Zanzibar, Mombasa, Arusha, Kigoma, Shinyanga, Musoma and Tabora.

With this new agreement, customers are able to purchase a single itinerary combining flights on both carriers’ global networks, affording them the ease of one-stop ticketing and baggage check-in.

The Precision Air partnership helps extend Qatar Airways’ reach even further across East Africa, where the airline already operates twice-daily scheduled services to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and launched daily flights to the Ugandan city of Entebbe on November 2.

The agreement provides passengers with seamless travel options to popular holiday destinations such as the Comoros in the Indian Ocean, renowned for its picture-postcard beaches and beautiful landscapes, as well as the exotic island of Zanzibar.
