ROVOS Rail is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to steam train enthusiasts worldwide, to travel on board The Pride of Africa from Victoria Falls to Pretoria from April 27 to May 6, 2008.
This luxury journey will be available for either groups or individual ticket sales and should be of special interest to preservation societies and steam heritage groups.
This 10-day journey is not a regular scheduled route operated by Rovos Rail.
During the 10-day journey the train will stop at Hwange, Matobo Game Reserve and Antelope Park for game drives and visit the Bulawayo Rail Museum before entering Botswana en route to South Africa.
The train can accommodate 68 passengers in 29 Pullman Suites and five Deluxe Suites.
