Royal Hotel opens computer training centre

DURBAN’S Royal Hotel has installed a computer training centre, which is available for hire to companies or individuals. Situated on the first floor of the hotel, the facility comprises 25 workstations, two servers and Internet connectivity, while a training consultant for Microsoft, Corel and Lotus applications is also available. Alternatively companies can arrange their own trainer. The computer training centre is an approved ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) training and testing centre. The internationally-recognised standard of competence certifies The Royal to train common computer applications using the ICDL Programme. (Miguel de Sousa)
