SAA has temporarily suspended flights to Abidjan due to political unrest in the West African country. SAA yesterday cancelled the Abidjan leg of its usual routing: Johannesburg-Abidjan- Accra. The airline said: “blockades of roads to the airport made operations in Abidjan impossible”. Yesterday’s flight operated to Accra only. SAA said if the situation in Abidjan continued, SAA would cancel Friday’s flight to Abidjan. Lucy Siebert (lucys@nowmedia.co.za)
