SAA has released an extended schedule in order to sustain the South African Express (SAX) network, by providing replacement capacity. The schedule will run from May 29, 2018, to May 28, 2019.
“Through our collaborative efforts with partner airlines (SAA, SA Airlink and Mango Airlines), we are pleased that we can now offer customers a year-long schedule intended to ensure business continuity for all stakeholders and the markets affected. We are confident that the capacity we have deployed will sustain the network operated by SA Express until it is reinstated into service by the regulator,” said SAA spokesperson, Tlali Tlali.
The schedule will operate as follows:
Cape Town-East London
- SA8681 will depart Cape Town at 10h45 and arrive in East London at 12h05, Monday to Friday and Sunday.
- SA8682 will depart East London at 12h35 and arrive in Cape Town at 14h00, Monday to Friday and Sunday.
Cape Town-Port Elizabeth
- SA8671 will depart Cape Town at 07h00 and arrive in Port Elizabeth at 08h15, Monday to Friday and Sunday.
- SA8672 will depart Port Elizabeth at 08h45 and arrive in Cape Town at 10h00, Monday to Friday and Sunday.
