SAA strike called off

Employees at SAAT have accepted a 6% wage increase.

The planned SAA strike has been called off according to Eye Witness News.

The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) had been asking for a 15% wage increase for employees of SAA’s maintenance branch, SAA Technical. The Satawu members have since accepted a 6% wage increase that will be backdated to March.
