Sabi Sabi appoints agent for Iberian market

SABI Sabi Private Game Reserve has appointed a dedicated sales and marketing agent, Victoria Albacar, to deal with the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Together with two partners, Albacar runs East West Tourism, a representation company focusing on niche markets such as South Africa. Sabi Sabi says International travel is a burgeoning industry in Spain and Portugal, and Albacar is well placed to capitalise on her clients' interest in safari holidays. East West Tourism's partners have between them over three decades of experience in marketing and selling travel products, as well as specific experience in marketing southern African destinations. As co-founder of Spain's first tourism marketing company, Albacar is well placed to promote South Africa. "We have seen a slow but steady increase in visitors from Spain and Portugal in the past few years, and appointing a dedicated representative there was a logical step," says Sabi Sabi md, Patrick Shorten. "Each market is unique and requires a focused approach, as we have seen in other markets around the world.
