ZODWA Nyembe has been appointed as Soweto Tourism Association’s (Sotoda) office manager and started her new position on July 1. Sotoda was officially launched in November 2004 and currently has 35 members which represent a wide range or sectors within the hospitality and tourism industries. These include: travel agents and travel logistics; accommodation establishments; conservation and eco tourism; tour operators; food and beverage; entertainment; MICE; arts and crafts; cultural heritage and tour guides. The organisation is currently securing office premises in Dube. (Lucy Siebert)
