Springbok Atlas is expanding its internal technology by linking its Tourplan software to the eRes central reservation and distribution software from Hospitality Technology International (HTI) to provide its consultants with real-time online booking capabilities across thousands of properties.
HTI, developers of hotel reservation and hotel management software, has been working closely with Tourplan, which supplies specialist software applications to over 300 tour operators. The agreement sees HTI interfacing its eRes and distribution software to the Tourplan software solution.
Sonia Grunewald, Product Manager at Springbok Atlas, said the company is now taking advantage of the eRes interface to improve its online, real-time booking capabilities. “The eRes central reservation system from HTI is used by over 2,500 properties throughout South Africa and the rest of Africa. By integrating Tourplan to eRes, approximately 37 tour operators across Southern and Eastern Africa are now given seamless access to eRes inventory.”
Springbok Atlas is currently loading Southern Sun, Three Cities, African Anthology, Savanna Game Lodge, Shibula Game Lodge, Signature Life Hotels and Thornybush Game Lodge.
