Stellenbosch hotel gets wireless Internet

EENDRACHT Boutique Hotel in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, has become a fully integrated hotspot for wireless Internet. The hotel, which targets the business and tourist market, now offers wireless Internet access in all its rooms and public areas both inside and outside, including its coffee bar, 'Koffieklets'. “The technology used is internationally compatible as 802.11b protocol,” said hotel owner, Daniël Lutz. The service provider is WirelessG Hotspots and the agents are Mobyl Business Systems CC. WirelessG is powered by Wi Fi (Wifinder), which makes it easy for many existing users to link up. New users can get a card at the hotel, plug in and use – as easy as 1-2-3. A user can buy time in Holland, for example, and use it at Eendracht and vice versa.” (Lucy Siebert)
