CAPE Town will in 2008 see another five-star hotel join its midst, with the planned opening of the Taj Hotel Cape Town. The 180-room hotel, to be located in Eurocape’s R1bn Mandela Rhodes Place, will cater for the leisure and tourism market and will include a number of luxury apartments. Developed as a partnership between Indian Hotels Company Ltd and Eurocape, the hotel will be developed within two heritage buildings, which form part of the Mandela Rhodes Place developments and rooms will overlook Cape Town’s cityscape, the Company’s Gardens and Table Mountain.
