FLOWERS in the Cape West Coast and Namaqualand have bloomed earlier than expected this year. The Cape Flower Season began in July due to early rains. The flowers on display stretch from Darling to the Richtersveld. They can also be seen at the Cedarberg Mountains, along the N7 route between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam. Sunny days, between 10am and 4pm, are said to be the best times to view the flowers. Visitors are allowed to pick a few of these as momentoes. Shamin Chibba (shaminc@nowmedia.co.za)
