The Three Cities Group has announced its new portfolio minus a few properties with which it has decided not to renew management contracts.
A statement released by the group said four properties had not had their contracts renewed. “With change being inevitable the following contracts have not been renewed - Quarters on Florida, the Bay Hotel, Mauritius, Nguni River Lodge and Selborne Hotel, Spa & Golf Estate,” it stated.
This does not mean, however, that the group is not looking to the future and has listed new developments and additions to the portfolio including The Rex Hotel in Knysna. Other projects, due for completion in the next 12 months are The Ballito Ambassador Hotel, Phakalane Hotel Gaborone, The management of The Square Hotel, Umhlanga, and The Dunes Resort, Plettenberg Bay.
The portfolio has been split into four categories: Linking Social Spaces, Private havens of luxury, Punctuate the space, and Inspiring significance and distinction.
Mike Lambert, newly appointed Chief Operating Officer commented: “Our diverse product offering is well positioned to attract both local travellers on regional holidays and business as well as international inbound tourists. Our main focus for 2009 and beyond remains Service Excellence, which we strive to deliver in all aspects of hospitality.”
