TKZN seeks higher international profile

IN an effort to increase the profile of the province as a preferred international and domestic tourism destination, Tourism KwaZulu Natal (TKZN) will be holding focused sales and marketing workshops with travel and tourism industry players. The main objective for the workshops will be to provide "viable and relevant marketing platforms" for KZN service providers to interface with key travel trade industry players in the focus markets, says a TKZN spokesperson. During the 2002/2003 operational year, the authority will host two workshops in Gauteng (north and south) two in the Western Cape (Cape Town) and one in KwaZulu Natal (Durban). The first of these will take place in Johannesburg at the Inanda Club on September 10 from 07h30 to 16h00, with a break for lunch. The second Gauteng workshop will be held in Centurion, Pretoria (venue to be announced) from 07h30 to 16h00. The Durban and Cape Town workshop dates will be advised at a later stage.
