Tourism KwaZulu-Natal has unveiled a revamped website with a focus on multimedia content.
A media section allows users to view real footage of the experiences on offer in the province, including virtual tours, video content and live streaming.
The website also displays correctly on various devices, including tablets, smart phones, laptops and traditional desktop computer systems. An interactive system allows users to find places to go, things to do and more information on a destination by clicking on a specific region in the province from a map.
Another new feature on the website is online accommodation booking.
Tourism KZN CEO, Ndabo Khoza, said the way users consumed information had changed, which the new website catered for. “Users are attracted to images and video content as opposed to reading lots of information about a subject.”
