The fun day when the travel and tourism sector meet in Gauteng to participate in the LooneyTIC games has been set.
The team-building event is like nothing else. Winning comes second and fun is first. Participants are from the travel, incentive and conference industry.
Organised by SA Tourism Update, its associate publications and the Hiside Group, travel agencies and suppliers are encouraged to start planning for the event which is limited to 20 teams.
The fun breaks out on Sunday morning April 18 next year.
Teams of eight will compete in low-level physical and mental tasks especially designed for the travel industry.
To mark the third year of the event, the winning team will be awarded the champions trophy, a straitjacket.
So make a note of that date now, start organising your team and send an email to bev@onshowsolutions.co.za if you are interested in entering or sponsoring one of the fun events. The entrance fee, payable next year, is R1 500 per team.
