Uganda looks to attract Gulf tourists

AVIAREPS represents the Uganda Tourism Board in the Gulf countries as destination marketing representative.

Uganda has appointed AVIAREPS as a destination marketing representative to promote nature, adventure and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to Middle East tourists, with the opening of a tourism representative office in Dubai.

AVIAREPS will promote Uganda as a year-round travel destination in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, to travellers and outbound travel industry professionals through targeted marketing and public relations activities.

Lilly Ajarova, Uganda Tourism Board CEO, said the representation would increase tourist arrivals from the Middle East. “We are excited about the opening of our first representation office in the Middle East with AVIAREPS. We are positive that this partnership will help us generate greater awareness of Uganda as a travel destination and increase visitor numbers from the Middle East to Uganda, where they can find unmatched travel experiences.”
