PREMIER Hotels and Resorts’ King David Hotel in East London is currently undergoing an upgrade. The hotel’s 80 rooms, a well as its conference facilities, Mtombo Restaurant and Bar and Legends Bar are all being revamped. Room refurbishments include the replacement of all bedroom furniture and ‘softs’. The rooms are being repainted and the doors have been replaced with digital locks fitted. The en-suite bathrooms have also been refurbished and retiled. The Goliath Room in the conference centre is being renovated. The main conference venue, the Dynasty Room is scheduled to under go a renovation in December. The restaurant and bars will all be refurbished. Sue Lewitton (suel@nowmedia.co.za)
