THE Tourism Grading Council of South Africa has awarded a five-star grading to Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve, which is located at the foothills of the Cederberg, 270km from Cape Town. Mark McAdam, the owner of Bushmans Kloof said: "It is a great honour to receive a five-star grading which is of particular importance to us as the year 2001 marks a milestone for Bushmans Kloof, a coming of age. The property was opened to the public five years ago and having completed the journey through its infancy period, it has achieved much, and is now firmly established as one of the top lodges in South Africa. " Bushmans Kloof, a member of Relais & Chateaux, is a South African Natural Heritage site and is recognised as the "world's largest open-air gallery" for its wealth of more than 125 rock art sites.
