Wetland ensures safety for its visitors

AHEAD of the Easter weekend, the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park Authority is taking precautions to ensure the safety of its visitors. A zero-tolerance attitude is being adopted towards crime, and together with the help of the South African Police Service, South African National Defence Force and traffic department there will be visible policing and regular roadblocks in the area. Meanwhile, as of April 1, the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park’s entrance gates will be managed by Katanga Parking Services. Katanga Parking Services is a specialist gate management company and will be managing the gates for the next three years. Six of the Wetlands entrances will be upgraded and redeveloped.
