The celebrations start at 20h00 with a sundowner cocktail followed by food ranging from fresh seafood to traditional Cape Malay cuisine. The early evening entertainment will be provided by an African marimba band and dancers, followed by a DJ at 23h00. In the Winchester Mansions tradition, the first moments of 2010 will be celebrated in true style, with a firework display.
On New Year’s day Winchester Mansions will host the New Year’s Day Hangover Jazz Brunch. The brunch will range from breakfast to desserts with fine wine on arrival and frozen Bloody Marys. Doors open at 11h30 to the beat of one of Cape Town’s best bands.
In the evening those still wishing to celebrate can join at Harveys for a New Year’s day dinner. The chef will prepare two- and three-course meals.
