THE 12th annual Cape Times Waterfront Wine Festival is taking place at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront from May 4 to May 7, 2004. The festival’s theme is ‘Wine Routes at the Waterfront’ and represents a wide range of Cape wine producers. This year, 95 of the Cape’s wine estates, producers and wineries will present more than 350 wines for tasting. Adjacent to the wine display in the V&A Market Square will be the Cheese Hall in the V&A Forum. Here visitors will be able to sample and buy boutique cheeses, as well as deli products such as olives, olive oils and oysters. Tickets are R65 and available from April 1 from Computicket, Vaughan Johnson’s Wine Shop, Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar and Waterfront World of Wine. (Lucy Siebert)
