Africa’s Eden details North America roadshow

Africa’s Eden North America Roadshow 2026 is set to take place from July 20-30, connecting Southern Africa suppliers to travel buyers in the US and Canada.

Stops include Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco and Denver.

“The addition of Toronto and Vancouver this year allows us to engage directly with a high-growth segment of the market and build on the strong Canadian interest we are already seeing,” says Jillian Blackbeard, CEO at Africa’s Eden.

The two cities are currently seeing the highest registration volumes of all cities, adds Blackbeard, reflecting a change in how trade is being routed globally.

“We’re seeing bookings that may historically have flowed through major US-based tour operators now being channelled through Canadian, and in some cases British, trade partners. This reflects a diversification in distribution channels and a rebalancing of where African product is being sold from.”

It will be a round-robin, half-day format with one-on-one meetings, giving every buyer the opportunity to meet each supplier. The event will feature 25 suppliers, including lodges, DMCs and operators. The event includes networking dinners at each stop.

Destination workshops will also be hosted online.

“There is a clear and accelerating shift towards multi-country itineraries,” adds Blackbeard. “Buyers are increasingly looking to connect destinations across the region, often anchored around key gateways such as Cape Town or Victoria Falls, but with a growing appetite to expand beyond the traditional routes.”
